In honor of the first head of school and founder, as well all individuals who have made some provision in their estate plans benefiting the school, the Board and Head of School established the Horace Dutton Taft Legacy Society in 2011. Horace Taft named the school as the beneficiary of his life insurance policy, the school’s first gift.
Since then, many from the Taft community have chosen to give back to Taft in important ways; through the Taft Fund, scholarships, faculty support, and capital projects; but we often get asked if there are ways to give back to Taft in perpetuity. Joining the Horace Dutton Taft legacy Society is a wonderful way to do just that. Taft’s ability to advance its educational mission has always been helped by “Forever Gifts, “so please consider joining many others in making a planned gift as part of ones’ overall estate planning.
Thank you for your loyalty to and support of the Taft School. Please contact Richard Galiette, Director Major and Planned Giving at 860-945-7747 or rgaliette@taftschool.org to learn about the benefits of joining the Horace Dutton Taft Legacy Society.
